Creative Outlook

In a world where shame and compliance are often forefronted, creative expression becomes increasingly important. It offers a space for healing, reflection, and reclamation. Through art, I explore the complexities of identity, emotion, and experience. I spend time nourishing and understanding the multitudes within me, all in the hopes that I can learn to better honor the multitudes that exist beyond me.

My process is grounded in curiosity, flow, and play. Rather than “capturing” a moment, I seek to linger in its nuance, to stay open, notice, and respond with care. Creative expression, for me, is less about the product and more about the act of presence. It’s easy to take ourselves too seriously, to get hung up on minute details, and lose touch with the bigger picture.Through my art I hope to strike a balance between responsibility and play in engaging with the world around me.

In this light, art becomes a way to process: to ask, listen, and imagine. By engaging deeply with this practice, I hope to move through the world with more intention, and to invite others to do the same.
